The 2008  EcuCamp at Waycross in

Morgantown, Indiana on April 11-13

was a great event.

Plans are in the works for another camp

in 2009.

What:  A gathering to explore life in the whole body of

Christ, for spiritual renewal, learning, leadership growth,

and, of course, fun!

Who:  Indiana high school students in grades 9–12

from many different denominations, invited for their

 leadership potential.

Okay, but
what is with this name
“EcuCamp”???
Ecu in EcuCamp comes from a Greek word. The English word we use is Ecumenical. Not a word likely heard in the school cafeteria, but it is a word used by groups all over the world to identify the concept of Christian unity, our oneness with all other Christians through God’s gift of Jesus Christ.
Ecumenism means striving to break down those human-made barriers that separate Christians from one another.
During EcuCamp you will grow with other young leaders from other traditions. Together, you can lead the body of Christ to places our predecessors saw only in dreams.
